Its raining...its pouring and I'm absolutely loving it!! There's nothing like the sweet smell of fresh wet soil..the lovely feeling in the air. Everything feels right...and just cool. To cuddle up with a good book under your blanket, reading till morning one or so with the relaxingly exciting music of the rain in the background....is one of the delights of the rainy season.
The varities of protective gear on display in stores...the latest trends in umbrellas...the crowded roads with a vast spread of black overhead with a spot of bright pink or blue here and there to break the monotony thanks to the rebellious few who believe in moving against the current....oh, and then there are the pokemon, barbie doll and other kiddie umbrellas with little ears and frills to really add a zing to the usual umbrellas to thrill little warriors out to face the down pour in style!
Its true that you have to make certain changes to your routine...like no cycling and stuff. Even when it stops raining, considering the condition of the roads...with the temperory tar all washed away it isn't a very good idea cycling. But everything is sacrificable or this season...the best of them all!

was just going thru ur profile and wondered if you read the serialzed version of the green mile or a combined version. its one fo the few book to movie adaptations where the movie was almost as good as the book. have you read or seen the shawshank redemption (also stepehn king?). liked the bit on the rain - i think u shud try cycling in the rain,splash thru the puddles and catch the drops on your face. dont care whos looking.
The combined version of the Green Mile is what I read....seperate books was not very convienient, as in the case of the serialized version.
Nope, not read Shwshank Redemption...but if you say its good, I'm always ready to try a new book.
I ended up playing for an hour in the rain...it was pouring, but it was awsome fun getting soaked...crazy but fun. Luckily I didn't catch a cold or anything...hah

you are not reading the rain,but percieving it.It's malayali's nostalgia on rain.Did you get wet by rain usually.There is film 'mazha' in T.V.Have you seen it.
